Customer Relations Specialist (Pet Parent Relations Specialist)

Our growing company has an immediate opening on our Pet Parent Relations team, which is responsible for engaging with our valued customers through multiple communication channels phone, email, online reviews, live chat, and social media. Our Pet Parent Relations team plays an important role in improving the lives of pets and pet parents by educating our customers about our superior products and resolving issues to help build and maintain customer loyalty.

As a Pet Parent Relations Specialist, you will be responsible for establishing valuable relationships and building loyalty with our customers by providing a superior customer service experience by using excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and programs.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and work to establish a positive rapport with every customer.
  • Stay informed and updated on product knowledge and company policies to ensure accuracy when communicating with Pet Parents.
  • Answer phone calls from Pet Parents to respond to their questions and resolve any issues.
  • Compose and respond to emails from Pet Parents.
  • Update customer information in the customer service database during and after each call or email.
  • Take responsibility for following up with customers until their question is answered or issue is resolved.
  • Edit and format customer information into database/excel spreadsheets for printing and distribution of letters and product vouchers.
  • Create and ship product baskets to pet parents, partners, and influencers.
  • Provide support with responding to Pet Parents via online product reviews, live chat, and social media posts.
  • Keep a positive work environment.

Location: Amarillo, TX

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High School Degree or GED

Experience (Years/Type): Minimum of 2 years experience in Customer Service, Communications, or Sales.

Expertise:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Passionate about solving problems and helping people.
  • Ability to multitask day-to-day workload with additional projects.
  • Willingness to be flexible, adaptable, and proactive in a constantly changing industry and company.
  • Self-starter that thrives in fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative partner, able to work well cross-functionally.
